Las Vegas Attractions

For many visitors, the main Las Vegas attractions come in the form of the many different casinos that are available in the hotels. There are numerous thousands of people who come to Las Vegas every year, and never leave the air conditioned atmosphere of the casinos, and spend their entire vacation at the slot machines, hoping for a big win, or on the poker and roulette tables, gambling away their stakes.

Over the past few years however, the tourist leaders in the city have decided that in order to sustain the growth of Las Vegas as a destination it needs to appeal to families as well as adults, and this has seen many new resort hotels opening in the city that offer a much wider range of Las Vegas attractions to their guests.

Many of the hotels now offer theme park style amusements as well as extensive sun bathing areas and pools where guests can spend some time out doors.

There are also many museums, galleries and even theatres that show all the different types of entertainment and culture that visitors to Las Vegas would like. You can see places like Ripley’s Believe it or Not, as well as visiting the cars of the stars collection, where you can see the famous cars from movies such as Batman and Knight Rider as well as many other famous TV shows.

If you are prepared to leave the city behind, then one of the most stunning natural attractions in the world is located just outside Las Vegas. Perhaps the most famous Las Vegas Attractions for visitors to go and see are the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam, which are located close to Lake Mead around an hour outside the city in the heart of the Nevada desert - itself a stunning attraction in its own right.

Simply being in Las Vegas is enough for some people, the famous neon lights along the strip are one of the most instantly recognizable Las Vegas attractions, and with all the entertainment in the city along with the fantastic accommodation and much more, Las Vegas is a city that offers pretty much everything that you could want from a vacation destination.
